Weary as your scapegoatI search for a sanctuary
Needing solace to heal
my thoughts, now fragmentary
A place where I may weep
with no fear of scorn
Having lost self-respect
and for that I mourn
Stillness and peace
comfort me here
Being lost in the silence
not missing the fear
My thoughts uninterrupted
bringing needed serenity
Finding myself again
after losing identity
A small haven
where no one goes
My heart can regenerate
its love, as tension slows
Meditation brings relief
as I look back at my soul
I can see clearly now
Once again, I am whole

I had a conversation with a friend yesterday who was going through a very testing time in her relationship. She was losing herself by being all things to her partner and his family members. There was a lot of taking and no giving back leaving her feeling used and abused. Her partner oblivious to her frustrations, preferring to bury his head in the sand. It reminded me of when I was experiencing the same thing in my marriage and I just wanted to escape the madness of it all. This is a poem I wrote at that time.

MetaponekoHi everyone, metaponeko’s owner here! I have some good news—the cancer screening results came back negative.
As for the polyp-like structure they found further inside, it didn't show up clearly on the MRI and didn't seem to have the typical features of a polyp. When they checked again with an ultrasound today, that structure had completely disappeared too!
Since my period just started yesterday, the doctor thinks that what we saw on the MRI might have just been some tissue starting to shed right before my period. I have a follow-up exam next month, but for now, the hospitalization is on hold. What a relief!
Even if something comes up in the next check-up and I need surgery, it sounds like if it doesn't have a stalk, they can just remove it easily with a suction device.
As for the original Nanko-ume plum-sized polyp that went missing during my last visit, it really seems to have twisted off on its own—it vanished without a trace!
The doctor was so surprised and said, "This usually never happens!" 😸🐰🐶✨

奥にあったポリープらしき構造物はMRIで見たところ不明。ポリープの特徴がなかったようです。
今日また改めて超音波で見たら、なんと構造物が消えていました！
丁度、昨日から月ものが来たので恐らく、生理直前で剥がれかけているお肉がMRIに写ったかも？と言う結果でした。来月に再審査ですが、ひとまず入院は見送りです。良かった！
もし、再審査で引っ掛かって手術になっても、茎が無ければ吸引機で吸い込んでおしまいみたいです。
前回の診察で行方不明になった南高梅サイズのポリープは本当にねじ切れたようで、跡形も無く消えていました。
「通常じゃあり得ない。」とドクターもビックリしていました😸🐰🐶✨
