The Core development of Regupol is the recycling of Rubber products to sheets of milled rubber.
Those are used for all kinds of sports, acoustics, construction, flooring and stables for horses.
For sport .e.g the runway of berlin olympic stadium is made from Regupol.
So those sheets are the core for the mats, and then there is a canvas. For #Judo ususally vinyl, #Aikido perfers cotton to be able to slide on it without burns

Whilst the road from #Hormus is still closed, the #blockade at Regupol has been broken!
Today we received a delivery of brand-new red (RAL 3027 Raspberry Red) tatami mats with cotton canvas covers.

Ask any dealers in #germany and probably the #eu the one & only supplier is the company #Regupol in Bad Berleburg.
They produce a variety of different products from recycling rubber and also tatami mats. Most of them with vinyl surface but canvas is also available.
The company is experiencing #quality problems with the canvas color.
