There are some really well-written ones. There are some that have amazing art.
There are plenty that are extremely niche.
There are some that aren't worth the paper they are printed on.
#AlexRoss has a unique realistic art style. He did the art for #KingdomCome which is a story examining and reaffirming the heart of the DC Universe. He also did the art for #Marvels which is a quick run through the birth of #Marvel through the eyes of a regular human.
#Marvel1602, where a time traveling mishap leads to the Marvel universe starting 300 years early, was written by @neilhimself. #ArkhamAsylumASeriousHouseOnSeriousEarth by #GrantMorrison and #DaveMcKean was like reading a nightmare (in the best possible way).
#RedSon tells a compelling story about what would happen if little Kal-El had crashed in Russia instead of Kansas.
#LeagueOfExtraordinaryGentlemen by #AlanMoore is a pulpy romp through several hundred years of public domain heroes and villains told across multiple volumes.
There are so many good ones out there.
