The rest of the circuit seemed OK but 12V made the micro release its magic smoke so it now has a #RaspberryPiPicoW running @circuitpython with a MOSFET board soldered on the back to pull the blown micros GPIO pins low and read the position of the 3-way switch.
It didn't need a #PicoW but it lets me edit the code using #CircuitPython Web Workflow without taking it to pieces again 🤞 .

I learned that the data obtained from the sensors such as AH10 and BMP280 must be treated as just reference. If you like data accuracy, neither raspberry pi pico (w) nor AH10, BMP280 may help the service.
