A couple of years ago with my #RamblersScotland hat on I was invited to the opening of the #Magnificent11, an eleven mile trail linking greenspace on Glasgows Southside. The trail was opened officially by Cameron McNeish & was the result of years of work by Glasgow Ramblers & Countryside Ranger Gary Linstead. Cameron gave a speech about growing up in the area, referring to #Glasgow as a "Dear Green Place" from the Gaelic, #Glaschu. I was hooked & really wanted to come back and do the route.

Scottish Council. Its an AGM but with added walking. Thanks to Cumbernauld and Kilsyth Ramblers for hosting and leading the lunch time walks.

Made it as far as Edinburgh airport on my travels today... enjoyed a lovely walk/important meeting with a colleague on Costorphine Hill first.

Hooray for back markers, cheery chats and everyone being a good egg! I've just lead a walk for the Ramblers Gathering from Glenmore to Nethybridge and had a super fun time. ๐ŸŒณ๐Ÿ‘ฃ๐ŸŒฒ๐Ÿฅพ๐Ÿฅพ

We accosted two lovely RSPB volunteers at Ryvoan who gave us a brilliant chat about work on the reserve AND we saw red throated divers! ๐Ÿคฉ

Walking in a Winter Wonderland with my #RamblersScotland group this morning. Our route took us around #HogganfieldLoch in #Millerston #Glasgow. Having done most of the circuit in a blizzard, the snow stopped and patches of blue sky appeared. #Scotland, eh?
