Firstly, my postie bike (now sold), which was light weight, but so sturdy.
Secondly my pickup truck of a bike, the #Radwagon4 , which is a constant source of headaches, but still worth it.
I genuinely love cycling.
Good news, everyone!
Rad Power Bikes stopped messing around and finally came through, which is great as my warranty is only a month or two from running out.
Entirely new rear wheel assembly delivered and installed, which means I'm back on the road.
Interestingly, this time UPS didn't demand £100 in customs fees, despite the attempt in December.
Rad probably didn't declare the value this time.

Help required.
Radwagon 4 (2yrs old, daily use).
Intermittent power failure (like 3 or 4 seconds) initially, now display (eggrider) shows a voltage drop from 54v to 21v in like ten seconds, then doesn't bother to turn on at all.
Tested without motor, lights, and sensor, and various combinations. Even replacement stock controller. All with the same result.
40a and 5a fuses on battery all are fine.
Battery level indicators show full.
1/ Now I remember why Rad Power Bikes as a company suck.
First they denied any responsibility for the manufacturing fault where they permanently affixed the tire to the rim of the wheel.
But out of the goodness of their hearts and a gesture of good will, they'll send a replacement assembly within 15 working days.
General question for cyclists.
Have you ever come across a bike, or wheel, where the tyre bead is effectively rubber welded/glued to the rim of the wheel?
As in, the manufacturer of the bike decided that this was a solution, and you never get to change the inner tube.
I've literally had to carved the tire off (got a replacement), but the bead is just glued to the damn rim.
I'm putting it off, but eventually I'm going to have to replace the rear tire on my Radwagon 4.
There is a whooooole hullabaloo about Rad Power Bikes and their tires, which I wont go into.
But since the company pulled out of the EU, I'm faced with having to fit a motorcycle tire instead of a stock tire.
Upside is that it'll be sturdier and longer lasting.
Downside is less free rolling, more weight, and more power required from the motor/battery.
Did I just pull up in front of my wife on a longtail cargo bike like it's a motorbike, wearing a leather biker jacket, look over my shades at her and say
"Hey baby, going my way?"
Yes. Yes I did.
Am I the pinnacle of cool?
Also yes.

I'm not even kidding when I say the motorbike dvr system I installed, is Potato Quality. But I know that going in.
After all it was only £37.
It can't even read number plates in broad daylight at 2 meters distance.
However, now I can plan accordingly for a higher quality system, knowing that it's not ridiculous.
