Perhaps you already know the #Netherlands is as flat as a #pancake. Yet this photo was not taken in #austria or #switzerland or even #Iceland. What you see in this photo is actually a waste mountain. A the moment I took this shot, they still used it, but allready made preparations to make it a recreational place. It already hosted several cycling races, like the Dutch championship in 2020 and 2022, the European championship cycling in 2023, the Tour of Holland in 2025, several MTB-races and national sprintraces, and many more to come.
It was bloody cold back then, with low temperatures and hard wind. I try to make the picture with that feeling. The scenery works well with it.

Last Friday I have bought a new #Trek #racingbike . I took it for a spin the same day and it rides awesomely (is that a word?) Yesterday I took it to the dunes (the only place with some climbs around here) and climbing with this bike was just great.

The total odometer on my previous bike was 73000 kms. So if you need proof that #Bianchi makes solid bikes, that is it.

Just saw a guy on a #bianchi #racingbike. The bike was black! Didn't know you are actually allowed to buy them in anything other than the iconic bianchi turquoise #celeste ;)
