AUTO.AEAudi has unveiled the new Audi RS5 for 2027, now a powerful plug-in hybrid. A 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 works with an electric motor to deliver 630 hp and 826 Nm of torque. Available as a sedan or Avant wagon, the RS5 also features Dynamic Torque Control and a special drift mode that sends power to the rear wheels for more playful handling. 🏎️⚡

The new Audi RS5 has gained a massive 620 kg (1,367 lbs), pushing weight to about 2,355 kg. Much of the increase comes from a plug-in hybrid system with a 22-kWh battery and a 174-hp electric motor. Despite the extra mass, Audi claims the sedan still hits 0–100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and can drive up to 84 km on electric power alone. ⚡🏎️
