Le départ de l'Espagne et des Pays-Bas représentent une perte financière considérable pour l'organisation du concours. Le retour d'États d'Europe de l'Est (Moldavie, Bulgarie, Roumanie) a qui ont a dû promettre des rabais ne compensera rien du tout.

L'UER en assemblée a voté pour conserver la place d'1sraël au concours Eurovision 2026. L'Espagne avait forcé un vote à bulletin secret, la direction de l'UER a associé les nouvelles règles anti-fraudes à ce vote pour brouiller les pistes.

Le réseau AVROTROS pour les Pays-Bas a immédiatement annoncé boycotter le concours 2026. La Slovénie et l'Espagne devraient suivre, et peut-être l'Irlande. [Edit : l'Espagne a confirmé son boycott]

En ce qui me concerne, le concours qui m'avait passionné depuis plus de 10 ans, et que je boycottais déjà depuis 2 ans, est définitivement mort.
