The 33-year-old from New Jersey, who was taken into custody during protests at Columbia University, described extremely difficult conditions and a prolonged legal struggle that kept her detained even after a judge ordered her release.

With the participation of Prime Minister Netanyahu, 62 members voted in favor of the law.
Al Jazeera reports that, according to the law, military courts will be able to sentence Palestinians to death who are convicted of killing Israelis.
It is said that the law will come into effect within the next 30 days.
However, the parliament’s decision has sparked widespread reactions, with Amnesty International calling the action discriminatory and stating that it will further strengthen an apartheid system.
Meanwhile, protests are being planned in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, in response to the law’s approval.
