Résumé du drama : l'ancienne interface marchait très bien et l'outil était très utilisé, quelqu'un a dit « l'interface est vieille, il faut la changer » parce que, c'est bien connu, il faut changer ce qui marche, les utilisateurs ont souvent rejeté la nouvelle interface, il a fallu rétablir l'ancienne et, désormais, le travail d'UX se fait sur l'ancienne (qui change progressivement).

🔍 The #RIPEstat team faced the challenge of maintaining two parallel UIs. Through research—surveys, interviews, and usability testing—they found key concerns with navigation and findability. Users preferred the 2013 UI for its search-like simplicity, while the 2020 UI’s side menu caused confusion.

RIPE NCC’s Senior UX/UI Designer, Antonella De Bellis, explains how user insights led to improving the older UI and retiring the newer one.
