De eerste WK-wedstrijd van Iran in de Verenigde Staten is verlopen zonder grote incidenten. Buiten het stadion werd er door een paar honderd mensen geprotesteerd tegen het Iraanse regime. Ze zwaaien onder meer met vlaggen van voor de Iraanse revolutie. Die vlag was door de FIFA verboden, omdat het een politiek gebaar zou zijn.

I hate how people here in Venezuela defend the United States so bad. I'm glad Maduro is out of the game but nothing has changed.

Not only we have daily water and power cuts, limited access to Internet, arbitrary arrests, 3 currencies, etcetera (caused by this regime):

If you criticize Trump or the United States, you face discrimination and hatred by the people here, who call you a supporter of the regime.

Conclusion: you can oppose to both Trump and the Venezuelan dictatorship. In fact, it's the only posture compatible with freedom.
