#QuiltiX Python QtWebEngine to #glTF #ThreeJS transfer via local storage is up running now for the glTF plugin. Next up is zip (vs glb) transfer for zipped #MaterialX assets to/from desktop/web and for material library server downloads.

Work begins on adding JSON and #glTF #MaterialX interop features to #QuiltiX thanks to work with folks there to add in a new plug-in API.

So far #QuiltiX is fun, but needs some obvious tweaks/additions.

- Keyboard Shortcuts (cntl+s, cntl+z, etc)
- Recent option (when moving between files)
- Preferbly should use . not , in float values so we can type using the numpad.
- Looks like it doesnt save over network paths such as //server/folder/file.mtlx

So with the release of #QuiltiX I have renewed my interest in #MatX. Actually just really keen to do a deep dive into material libraries, storing, reusing and accessing materials across DCCs.
