Now that quote posts are a thing on Mastodon, we need an insufferably cutesy nickname for them that everyone hates but still gets used anyway. To that end I nominate “Quoots”, a portmanteau of ‘quote’ and ‘toot’. I believe it’s the worst possible option, solidly cementing Mastodon in particular and the Fediverse in general as having the worst slang on the internet. Please quoot to spread the word.

Does anyone (preferably an employee and a woman and/or a #LGBTQIA2S+ person) know if #Blizzard has cleaned up their trash behavior towards #women (including #trans women) and #Queet people?

I would like to play #Diablo4, as I have been playing the series since the #beta for the original #Diablo #VideoGame on #PC, and I have logged umpteen thousands of hours on them all. I still have my original #Diablo2 discs, and install it on my desktop every so often.

I want to play the game, but not enough to stand with shitty companies and their #abusive #businesspractices, so I will not be buying it unless I know that they have cleaned up their act.
