We were especially pleased with our #Christmas tree this year...it's 25+ years old and mostly held together by garland at this point BUT we assembled a really nice version of it this year.
Overnight, #QueenMabel must've tried to climb it...we found it on its side this morning.🤦

One day left until we get the fuck (language required, trust me) away from reality for a day…very grateful that my sister and her kiddos are coming to hang out w/ #KingCorb and #QueenMabel for the day, so we don’t have to worry about them.

Any recommendations for #comic shops, #yarn stores, or #glutenfree bakeries? It’s been a few years since we were there together (2014!) and I can’t spot many of our old favourites. But it will be nice to be back!

#QueenMabel is an indoor cat with harness and leash privileges…it’s finally getting below zero here in #OttCity, so we’ve broken out her two coats: this one and a heavier one.
She’s a solid, fluffy girl but she gets cold eventually so harness, coat, and leash! 😸

Oh! My first #Caturday in the #Fediverse and nearly missed #QueenMabel!
Mabel comes from #FurrGetMeNotCatHaven, which is a rescue just outside #OttCity. When we got her at 5 months old in fall 2020, she was recovering from a severe eye infection AND the stress of changing homes triggered #FelineHerpes…oh was she sick! Then from that to a mystery skin issue (now under control, thankfully).
But she’s grown up into royalty…she’s ~15lbs of fur and attitude! And here she is for your worshipping! 😻
