This is interesting. The #Texas Penal Code makes no mention of conversion therapy on minors, yet § 35A.02(a)(7)(B) forbids providers from claiming fraudulent services. With no accredited provider seriously recommending conversion therapy, the statute thus presumably proscribes it as a medical treatment, rendering any new law redundant, not to mention the risk of said laws extending to counseling—an obvious constitutional no-no. Now I'm, well ... Less willing to give credence to the claims of people peddling snake oil that's already been proven false.
Anyways, I go along with it, in the interests of having an open mind.
It's a little uncomfortable as it's a strip of fabric and a foot wide and ten feet long positioned across the bed about at calf position. It's also connected via a wire plugged into the building ground. You know for the grounding.
A week went by. No noticeable improvements in sleep. Partner takes it off the bed and contacts the company for a refund. They offer us 60% refund to just keep it rather than a full refund and send it back.
I'm pretty convinced that they still made profit and that shows what the real cost/value of it was.
