Walz, the 2024 Democratic VP nominee, has said fraud will not be tolerated & his admin “will continue to work with federal partners to ensure fraud is stopped & fraudsters are caught.”

Walz has said an audit due by late Jan should give a better picture of the extent of the fraud. He said his admin is taking aggressive action to prevent additional fraud. He has long defended how his admin responded.

O’Neill, who is also serving as acting director of the #CDC, also said in the post Tuesday that payments across the #US through the #ACF, an agency within the #HHS, will now require “justification & a receipt or photo evidence” before money is sent. They have also launched a “fraud”-reporting hotline & email address, he said.
