@mook TBH, I don't think this that #Qatar gives a shit about #Palestine.
- In fact most of the "Arab World" seem rather pleased or content with the situation and the only reason they want Palestine to exist as a state is to be able to deport the #refugees they have accumulated over time.
In fact, it's all about #money and favours. That's why the #USA threw the #Sahawri under the bus for #Morocco and #Israel denying the right of existance to #WesternSahara.
- I've yet to see much of an outcry about that, cuz in the end, #fertilizer and #sardines being stolen from the Western #Sahara are seen as acceptable...
And so the same goes about Palestine, which doesn't even have any natural resources worth dying for from a colonialist perspective (which is why the Brits fled)...
Personally, the whole #Israel / Palestine conflict won't end until either one side #genocide|d (or rather #democide|d) the other or they form a unified, laicist nation for all.
- Given the #Kahanist parties in #Netanyahu's cabinet and him facing numerous trials for #corruption once out of office, this is as much of a pipe dream as #Gaza becoming an actually free & democratic nation and the Arafat Airport being reopened and the blockade being lifted.
Cuz neither #Hamas not Israel's Government have an interest on the end of the conflict. At most they want to retain the pre - #O7 status quo.
