Quoting Joe Biden (to Netanyahu): “You know the perception of Israel around the world increasingly is that you’re a rogue state, a rogue actor,”

1. "That son of a bitch, Bibi Netanyahu, he's a bad guy. He's a bad fucking guy!"

2. "He's a fucking liar."

3. "Bibi, what the fuck?"

4. "You know the perception of Israel around the world increasingly is that you're a rogue state, a rogue actor."

5. "What's your strategy, man?" (To which Netanyahu replied about going into #Rafah, and Biden responded: "Bibi, you've got no strategy.")

‘That son of a bitch’: New Woodward book reveals candid behind-the-scenes conversations of Biden, Trump, Harris and Putin

In his new book, legendary journalist Bob Woodward offers a remarkable look behind the scenes at President Joe Biden’s blunt, profanity-laced assessments and interactions with the world leaders who have shaped his presidency, from Benjamin Netanyahu to Vladimir Putin.

His subtooting of #Netanyahu hints at a #Gantz govt improvement in #US-Israel relations (vs #Putinyahu rule).

"important to remember…direct dialogue with the U.S. administration is a vital asset that must not be given up...the Prime Minister would do well to go to the U.S. himself, & hold a direct dialogue with President Biden & senior administration officials. This is true routinely [&]certainly true now, when the weight of U.S. support for Israel is so critical"

[cont’d] #Putinyahu: "The U.S. did not veto the new text today calling for an unconditional ceasefire without the release of the captives. This is a clear retreat from the consistent position of the #UNSC since the beginning of the war. This retreat harms both the war effort and the effort to release the captives, because it gives #Hamas hope that international pressure will allow them to get a ceasefire without releasing our captives."

#France / Macron warns that forced Rafah population transfer could be 'war crime'

Macron expressed "firm opposition" to an Israeli military operation in Rafah, and warned: "Expulsion of residents is a war crime." The French news agency AFP reported that in a conversation with Netanyahu, Macron announced his intention to call for an immediate and lasting ceasefire in the #UN Security Council, and demanded "to open the crossings into the Strip without delay."

Macron also "strongly condemned" Israel's announcement Friday of the seizure of 800 hectares of land in the occupied West Bank for new settlements.

So #Macron apparently left the gym, and has a message to #Putinyahu… Should be noted that Macron advised Israel already in October 2023 against large scale operation in Gaza.
