@protonprivacy For properly packaged and securely distributed software running securely on all our desktop Linux platforms we continue to rely on Flatpaks hosted on @flathub where verified publishers are clearly identified.
Examples of verified publishers include The GNOME Project, KDE, Team Kodi, Discord Inc., LibreWolf Community, MZLA Technologies (Mozilla Foundation), The GIMP team, and Plex. There are hundreds more.

Instead of releasing questionably packaged software downloaded from a web site with no readily found checksum or PGP signature for only one desktop environment on only two, three or zero platforms which relies on a self-update mechanism which has never been appropriate for Linux platforms and which installs less securely, please release verified Flatpaks as we have been requesting for years.
While we appreciate the work the volunteers do packaging your software which we trust so that we can use it, we should not have to trust them in addition to you and they should not have to do your job.
