Description: The role focuses on engineering ice-binding proteins (IBPs) to control ice nucleation and growth, with applications in biomedical cryopreservation (e.g., heart and kidney). The project combines computational protein design (Rosetta, AlphaFold, ML) with biochemical and structural biology techniques.

Key Requirements: 1. Master’s in Molecular Life Sciences, Biophysics, or related field.
2. Background in de novo protein design, structure prediction, and coding (Python/C++).
3.  Interest in biophysics/soft matter science.

Offer: • 4-year full-time contract (scale P) • International environment in the Brainport tech region • Teaching component (~10%)
