#ProductManagement was never about output, but outcome.
Creating value by doing the right things at the right time.
Now, output is getting cheaper with the help of coding tools and LLMs, so #strategy and user knowledge is the value we create.

The Product Trio is blurring. Everyone thinks they can do your job. They're not wrong. Now what?

AI is dissolving the walls between PM, design, and engineering. One person can increasingly hold all three dimensions.

But tools commoditize fast. The real moat is judgment: knowing what to build, for whom, and why.

Don't be fungible.

Launching virtual sign language interpretation was more than a product milestone.

Sharing this in recognition of #InternationalWomensDay feels especially meaningful. Building accessible experiences is lived experience translated into impact.

When inclusion ships: A product launch with purpose

As product leaders, we talk a lot about inclusion. But every so often, we get to ship it.

How is AI transforming product management?

However you’re using AI to build software, LLMs mean we’re all PMs now.

Try this in your next sprint review: turn on text scaling and zoom magnification (yes, 2× or 4×).

Things get real fast. Buttons panic. Layouts reveal secrets. Screens that looked “fine” suddenly… don’t.

Design for the couch, not the mockup. #prodmgmt

Start the new year by running your sprint reviews with zoom and text scaling turned on

As we kick off the new year, it’s a good time to pause and ask an honest question: are we really seeing our product the way people use it? When we review a TV experience at the default size, we’re usually seeing it under ideal conditions. Everything fits. Nothing is stressed. It’s the most forgiving version of the product, and it’s rarely the one people experience at home.

We’ll soon be swimming in #misinformation, generated by carefully worded prompts, machines trained on biased #data sources, and actors motivated by the worst angels of our nature.

Transcendental First-Principles

We’ll soon be swimming in misinformation, generated by carefully worded prompts, machines trained on biased data sources, and actors motivated by the worst angels of our nature. To get ahead of the curve, I asked the magical transformative word generator for its mystical thoughts on connecting class

Kinda curious to see how a data architecture model with primary keys plays with a language model.

#A11y is about user retention.

If your login flow isn’t inclusive, your audience never makes it to your content.

In my new post, I share how product managers can audit TV login experiences to remove friction and open access for all. #Prodmgmt https://medium.com/design-bootcamp/pms-its-time-to-audit-your-tv-login-experience-327d7f9bb69d

PMs, It’s Time to Audit Your TV Login Experience

Logging in should be simple — but on TV, it’s often where accessibility breaks down. Between on-screen keyboards, pairing codes, and…

Great and entertaining talk from 2019 GDC by (former) Unity's Mike Acton on minimal standards for building #software systems:

„Everyone Watching This Is Fired: Tips for Game Industry Programme.“

Also highly recommended for #prodmgmt that work close with software development teams. This talk helps to ask the right questions.
