Today is going to be a boring day as #PGE turned our power off from 9:00am to 4:00pm as they replace the power poles outside of my home. Yeah they're actually pulling up the poles and putting a new ones never seen that before.

☝🏼Are we talking about a single point of failure?

In the social network we can read multiple theories about the root cause:

- sabotage
- Putin
- Rare atmospheric conditions
- Trump

Usually, the most simple answer use to be the correct one: in my opinion is a single point of failure.

I would like to think that the #powercut is because a compound of multiple problems, which could make sense.

However, we don't know yet the root cause.

I hope our governments perform a proper Root Cause Analysis and make it public.

It's interesting how the operation #PowerOff regularly dominates the #DDoS timeline for their take down of #booter / #stresser services.

It needs to happen, I agree, and it is great work done by the authorities. But it really leaves an aftertaste, since a couple of weeks later the landscape is back to normal with new services, new domains, same old business model.
