Hatte an meienr #Fritzbox zu Hause immer wieder Verbindungsabbrüche. Habe herausgefunden, dass die #Powerline Adapter die #DSL Verbindung stören und dass man das in den Einstellungen der Fritzbox entstören kann. Habe ich gemacht und jetzt hoffe ich, dass es besser wird.

- links to config files created in ~/
- #Emacs compiled, light cleaning of init.el to make sure everything is operational
- #i3wm setup
- transferred gpg keys
- data directory copied to ~/ (static stuff that's too big to keep on Nextcloud)
- #firefox installed and profile synced

Still to do:
- backup the old ~/ drive 'just in case' I missed something
- chase down the missing applets and notification bits and bobs that i3 requires
- setup the work VPN
- find a hub or dongle or something so I can plug more than two USBA devices in at a time
- figure out which of my tweaks will break my personal laptop, and sort out a more robust way to share only *some* of my config

Failures:
- #powerline refuses to behave on this particular #Ubuntu 24.04 installation, so I've fallen back on my bespoke #Bash prompt
