Just finished writing the 100th postcard to Maine voters as part of the Postcards to Swing States campaign.

They provide the postcards, specific message to write, and the mailing list for free...you fill them out and buy postage and mail them on the date they specify. I teamed up with a friend to do this batch...she has a physical challenge so she bought stamps, and I did the rest.

My goals for today:

- Put up the outside Halloween decorations
- Stamp my postcards to voters so they’re ready to send this week
- Sort and de-envelope the mail in preparation for shredding
- Assemble the mail storage/organizer I bought to avoid being overwhelmed by piles of mail on the kitchen table
- Watch a Halloween movie

I mailed my 500 postcards on Saturday. I handed them to the postal employee inside the post office to ensure nothing bad happened to them.

As I was leaving, another customer—a woman about my age—skipped up to me and said, "What state did YOU get?"

What are the chances of that?! I live in a pretty densely populated area.

THAT's how many women are mailing postcards. We're bumping into each other at the post office!

Just participated in the Postcards to Progressives live YouTube call. Their goal this year was to mail out 25.8 million postcards to registered Democratic voters who are inconsistent voters.

Instead, we collectively sent out 40.3 million postcards!

Today is October 24!

I just put the 200 postcards that had been sitting by the door in a shoebox labeled "mail on Thu. Oct. 24" INTO THE MAIL!
