Analog selfies

Helllllo! We’re opening up studio MALARKEY for portrait sessions. Come on down on Fri May 30th and have your free portrait taken. If you have ever wanted the luxury of having your photograph taken using analog technology but then having to wait days to see the results, then this event is for you.

“But why would I want get involved in that”, I hear you cry.

  • I will be using some very old tech, a large format Kodak camera from the 1950’s.

  • You get push the shutter! Yes, I have a super long (pneumatic) cable release and to give sitters some autonomy, they get to trigger the camera.

  • You’ll get a copy of the photograph emailed to you.

  • The negative is massive. Like really big, 5x7 inches in fact.

  • There will be lots of interesting and creative people present who you can talk to.

  • It will be a lot of fun.

  • There’ll be refreshments.

    • Put it in the diary, would love to see you there.
