Andrew Grassie on Instagram: "In the spring of 2021 and 2022 I travelled up to the shores of Loch Ness, reimagining the hunt for its monster. I spent long days and nights looking into its waters, recording the spots where sightings had taken place. It ended up as a series of paintings shown at Maureen Paley’s Studio M in 2023 - ‘Looking for something that doesnt exist’. I’ve now made two more paintings on this theme to be included in ‘Image World’, curated by Alex Harding, questioning truth, evidence and authenticity in a time when these ideas are being manipulated by dubious actors around the world.
