I am HOPELESS at AV stuff, but I help administer a little art/photo crit group.

We started out meeting on Zoom and that has an inbuilt tool to screen record. In our efforts to try and stick it to the corporate stiffs we migrated to Jitsi.

Since then I have never made a successful screen recording.

I have done one that was silent (I think with Quicktime), a second that was silent but using the inbuilt mac screen software. Another was entirely black (not from using Incognito mode) and the last was just a 2 hour recording of my face (this was Jitsi in the browser using the record function but it just used my camera).

Years ago I do recall using Soundflower to help change input/output for audio. I also have CleanShot. but I think my problem is the audio input/output.

TL; DR
How do I screen record via the browser on a Mac. And treat me like I am 6. I need it super simple. Is there a way to toggle the audio easily?

TIA

My stance on #LLM :

1. There _might_ be some useful use cases with this technology that could be worth exploring.

2. However, it is glaringly obvious that, as of now, their main purpose is to power the mother of all investments bubbles.

3. Which leads us to the present trillion dollar business case for "we must build energy- and water-wasting data centers everywhere so that we can scrape every single website a thousand times a month for new training data!"

4. Thus, there is currently pretty much no ethical way of using LLMs.

5. Any ethical exploration of LLM use cases will thus have to wait until the bubble has burst, the investors have moved on to the next scam, and we can sort through the rubble to check what is left.

One of my favorite wine references is on Love on the Spectrum when Abbey tries some wine and says "It's interesting...but I’m not interested."

So real, Abbey.

Eating an entire cake because today would have been my Birthday - if I had been born on this day.
Also my butt hurts because I have been sat on our sofa bed for too long. Might migrate to the bedroom.

Ugh, it's past lunch time, although I didn't actually want lunch.

Maybe I can wait for pre-dinner snax, but I also want something as well as having no idea what to eat.

DAMN!

This is the sexiest chair ever designed IMHO.

Need over 6K for the set.
