so
@anthrocon does sorta address the #poodling controversy https://www.youtube.com/live/-UKTGDS9fTM?t=24940
and i have to ask... does that mean if the entire con gets too big, you're gonna start requiring that people must wear a #fursuit to attend to get the numbers down? genuine question.
I love getting rave outfits as they always fit perfectly in fullsuit and #poodling π
Great for looking hot af anytime π π βΊοΈ
Anthrocon banning poodling from the fursuit parade is ableist, elitist, and frankly, disgusting.
Feel free to come to Midwest Furfest if you want a welcoming convention with a lot of people. Chicago may be a blizzard stricken hellscape, but we love everyone who comes here and we look forward to seeing you.

Note: I'm not associated or affiliated with MFF, I'm just lazy and think I lucked out having one of the coolest, most accepting cons directly in my backyard.
furry is extremely queer.
a fursuit parade at one of the biggest and well known furry conventions on the planet is going to have so many queer furries in it that any amount of suppressing expression that any reasonable proud queer person would be okay with for the purposes of being "family friendly" can't be separated from queerphobia.
I'm partially saying this in response to Anthrocon apparently disallowing any bare skin to be showing for fursuiters in their fursuit parade (which I think is shitty for a few other reasons as well), but still it's a much more broadly applicable point than just that.
suppressing furry expression is suppressing queer expression.
