Editorial: Catholics are politically homeless. That's not what's lamentable.

Catholics shouldn't be a sure bet for either party. Our votes should be a matter of a conscientious decision that involves judging candidates, issues and effects on the common good across a range of issues.

This, from George Monbiot, eloquently sums up my current disenchantment with Labour as a candidate new government and UK politics as a whole. I don’t think Labour realise just how awfully brutal and relentless the other parties will be when in opposition.

With so many now feeling unrepresented, whether to even bother voting is on my mind.
