I keep getting text messages from my doctors' surgery asking me to fill out surveys. I just called said surgery to opt out of these specific texts. The answer? "Yes, but that means you won't get appointment reminders or any other important texts!". This is, it seems, POLICY! "Suffer the survey texts, or get no information whatever!".
The response of "Just ignore them!" made my goat, as you can imagine, REALLY get it!!
