It was here, small and upright, dry as a bone, when we moved in. I've since up-potted it and given more care. It's exploded a bit. I worried when it drooped but thinking it's meant to.

I took a cutting of the Japonica plant. I also took a cutting & 2 seed heads from this plant - Veronica pinguifolia - which is native to NZ but popular with landscapers here on Vancouver Island. It produces multiple, gorgeous, small white flowers in Summer. Their seed heads are pretty too.
