The succulents that were given to me for my office are in hydroponics. The pots simply have holes at the correct height, so that excess water can runs out of the holes. Of course, this is impractical if you want to rinse the Leca occasionally. I do this once a quarter for my plants at home that are in hydroponics. Sometimes I also discover rot and then I have to rinse the roots regularly for a while. But my plants at home are also completely different. They are mostly Alocasias and Philodendrons. I'm curious to see how the system with the holes in the pots proves itself. The succulents have all been in their pots for a long time and they seem healthy.
Does anyone here have succulents in Leca? What do you think about this setup?
