A couple things to keep in mind. Don't force it. Let the breath flow naturally. Practice it during cool-downs daily so it's second nature when the pressure's on.
You'll notice a lower heart rate, calmer nerves, and sharper focus right when you need it. Try it once and you'll feel what I mean.
