We've just enjoyed a healthy lunch using some of our home grown #chard, #kale, #pea shoots, #nasturtium & #beer #bread along with some regular #salad too. The healthiness slipped a tiny bit by having coffee & a fresh cream choux bun for pudding! 😃

Due to the chilly weather, I’ve made my better half some #pea, #lentil & #barley #soup.

She asked me if I was cooking #CornedBeef!!!

I’ll serve her some - here’s hoping it tastes more like soup & less like corned beef.

Feeling happy now that I can, with a clear conscience, relax this afternoon & do some painting. In the last 24 hrs I've defrosted one of our freezers while batch making:

We've ate half of the tea bread, with the other half in the freezer and had soup for our lunches. There are now 30 single portions of soup in our freezer which will keep us going for a while 😋
