According to the preview during #DnDDirect, WotC's new Project Sigil VTT cannot create characters with wheelchairs or other assistive devices besides staves. WotC YouTube: Shows art of #DnD character in wheelchair and says, "Players will find whole new ways to customize their characters."
Also WotC: #PHB2024 has representation in art but no way to customize characters for disabilities or even words that mention the possibility.
So...what was that?!

WotC: We need to get rid of the racial issues in #DnD.
Also WotC: #PHB2024 removes half-elves/orcs, removes custom lineages, and allows only pureblood people groups, effectively gamifying miscegenation laws. 🤦‍♂️

I was just chatting w my coworker abt the #PHB2024, and he hadn't heard that there was a new edition on the way, but he was excited about Critical Role's upcoming #TTRPG, which I had not heard about.

I wonder if the whole discourse about people refusing to play a game other than #DnD is actually a thing, or if it's someone the internet made up to get mad at.

The 2024 PHB has sold 1K+ in preorder, for about a weeks worth. Not ranked yet. The PHB 2014 is at 256 and 5k+ sold in the past month. DMG 2024 is 900 and MM 2024 at 800
