Had the #soldering iron out so my wife asks if I want to fix a sound-making children’s book that seems to have stopped working. So we cut the component off the book, muck around with the wires, break out the multi-meter to see where the problem was… all to discover it was the batteries lol. They were dead.

At least we learned a lot about simple electronics!
