Today, we finally launched Open Source Explorers! If any of you know people who would like to get involved in open source but have found it difficult to get into, would you please let them know about our little program?
We’re looking for developers but also specifically for participants who are not developers, e.g. designers, translators, etc. And, yes, we’re building this program especially with folks from marginalised communities in mind because, despite good intentions, OSS isn’t always as welcoming as we’d like it to be, so we want to remove some barriers and get more folks into open source.
Also: participants will be indirectly contributing to humanitarian aid delivery, which is kinda neat, I think.
