Hello Mastodon.
New year, new account. Not quite ;-) I'm just new here.

Short info about me:

I'm switching to penetration testing and bug bounty.

In 2024 I passed the OffSec Web Assessor (#OSWA) in three months.
For 2025 I plan to pass the OffSec Certified Professional (OSCP).

I will probably follow you if you write about #cybersecurity, #offsec, #infosec, #pentesting, #penetrationtesting or #bugbounty ;-)

i know about #PenTest+, #CEH, and #OSWA but are there any other certifications for web hackers that are worth a look and the industry recommends/respects?

Hi everyone!

I guess a brief #introduction is in order. I'm Vito, a senior #webdev based in #Finland. Besides #programming, I also manage #infrastructure (mainly #Kubernetes clusters and #GoogleCloud resources) and am preparing for my first @offsec certification (#OSWA) so I am particularly interested in #infosec #cybersecurity

Looking forward to discovering interesting people to follow here. Nice to meet you all!

Has anyone had any issues using an #M1 #Mac with
@offsectraining
exams (especially #OSWA and #OSWE)? Is it OK to use #Parallels instead of #VMWare? Parallels works much better on macOS.

Getting closer to my exam, I am excited.
