@gravitas I'd disrecommend manual @torproject / #Tor.configuration unless you know EXACTLY what you do.

• #TorBrowser does way more than merely proxy Traffic through Tor, but also prevent #InformationLeakage and block tracking code.
  • You do run the risk of subverting your anonymization efforts to a degree that way!

So I do disrecommend doing this, and instead use if not #TorBrowser, then at least @Waterfox / #Waterfox with #SponsorBlock and #uBlockOrigin if not #NoScript in incognito mode...

@GeePawHill the fact that #ScammerPayback, #JimBrowning and all the other #ScamBaiters don't run out of content and nowadays find more and more aggressive #Scammers literally emptying peoples' bank accounts (or rather manipulating them into doing that) is worrying.

• Granted, #Malvertising like that is why I think it's not enough to use #uBlockOrigin but necessary to use #NoScript if not migrate users to using @torproject / #TorBrowser and #DisableJavascript entirely, because it's just so rampant.
  • Might just use #FrogFind all day and do simple webbrowsing instead.
