Really long loading times when opening the page the first time
Hi! I noticed that discuss.tchncs.de [http://discuss.tchncs.de] takes REALLY long to load the first time loading the page. It can really take up to a minute till the page is there. When it finally is open it is quite fast, no issues there. Had anyone else noticed that problem?
nochmal ganz doof frei rausgefragt weil ich gedanklich ein bisschen in einer sackgasse stehe und inspiration/meinungsbild super wäre:
ich so als typ von und mit #tchncs... so von der weiterentwicklung von angeboten her, was würde für euch logisch und auch tatsächlich interessant sein?
- beratungsangebote?
- doch echt software as a service (ne eigene cloud klicken)?
- allgemeine individuelle serverbetreuung? (das ist ne falle, das ist entweder nicht so viel gefragt oder ich habe es schlecht kommuniziert, aber das mache ich schon)
- ganz riskant: (wirklich) schwer moderierbare tchncs dienste hinter paywall schieben (nachfrage natürlich ok) bzw/und ein "zweites" tchncs mit pay2account modell.. kann geldfluss stabilisieren und spam vorfiltern - falls genutzt

Nice to meet you! My name is Shōzao, and I was born and raised in Japan. I’m a member of Generation Z who first started using Windows 95 at the age of three and has grown accustomed to computers with the release of every new operating system. During my sixth-form years, whilst other groups used analogue methods for their internship presentations, my group alone devised a presentation using PowerPoint and a live demonstration of our training results. As of 2026, whilst I was making a living through a dual role of remote work and deliveries, I realised I was at risk of being left behind in the AI era, so I have now switched to practising ‘AI work’ that makes full use of AI. the site often doesn’t load or takes 10 seconds to load. i suspect the server suffers from heavy scraping. i would recommend some anti-scraping measures. maybe Anubis as feddit.org [http://feddit.org] is already using. according to reports, it works well for them. link [https://feddit.org/post/24855903] (Abschnitt: “Änderungen am Bot-Schutz”)
