Fun fact: The #NikonF401S had a roll of film in it. A #Konica #Centuria 200 from 2002 🤯 (at the latest)

Still debating with myself if I should order a batch of C-41 chemistry, pester @SaltySolomon with it, yeet it to #FotoLeutner in #Vienna, or just stand-develop it in B/W chemistry and hope for the best.

Any1 got any hints for developing 20+ years old C-41?

Status so far:

The #NikonF301 works. Light meter gives realistic values and spot-checking it with my external light meter seems decent.

The #NikonF401S had some serious corrosion in the battery compartment. Cleaned it off with some rubbing alcohol, now it detects the batteries and even focusses with the #Nikkor AF 35-70mm f/3.3-4.5. BUT it won't recognize the (DX-coded) roll of Tri-X I put in. Bummer.
