Der Beitrag untersucht die Entwicklung von Museumssammlungen mit Blick auf die Sammler*innen, die Objekte durch Schenkung oder als Leihgaben an die Institutionen brachten. In der explorativen Studie werden die Grenzen und Möglichkeiten der Netzwerkanalyse auf Basis online verfügbarer Datensets aufgezeigt.
