Project ideas - "Contributing to Zurich's future"
Shaping the future of the district togetherIn the Pilot District Net-Zero in the Binz and Alt-Wiedikon area, we want to work together to explore new ways of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and using resources efficiently. The aim is to work with residents and businesses in the district to find out which ideas and processes effectively support change on the ground – and how they can be transferred to other districts. Because the future is created where people act together. What makes it special:In the Pilot District Net-Zero, residents receive their own budget for climate protection projects in the neighborhood. As part of this participatory budget, all residents are invited to contribute ideas, develop them further with others, and implement them in the district. The principle is simple:You contribute your idea on how we can reduce greenhouse gas emissions together in the district, while following our rules. We then develop the ideas together with other interested people and experts into concrete projects.Whether small or large projects worth between CHF 5 000 and CHF 200 000, the best projects are selected and funded by the public and a panel of experts with equal voting rights. The idea generators implement their projects themselves with the available budget, provided they are selected. The project team of the Pilot District Net-Zero provides support with planning and preparation.👉 Submit your idea now!Don't have your own idea, but want to support projects in the district?Contact us and put your skills to use where they are needed.
