In honor of #NationalHummingbirdDay, a story:

I noticed two hummingbirds fighting over the one feeder (which is a hilarious sight, tbh) so I unearthed another feeder & put it out thirty feet away.

The next day they were fighting over the SECOND FEEDER. 🤣On the third day they were each on separate feeders, quite contentedly.

I later sat out on the porch, which faces away from the feeders, & one of the hummies zoomed all the way over to hover in front of me briefly, as if to say thank you! ❤️
