This volume begins with a description, in the present tense, of Marianne’s surprise party for her husband, Professor Michael, on his sixtieth birthday, soon interrupted by the narration of what had happened in the previous three years and only concluded at the end of the book.
“I’m not sad just because of Snoop. I realized our mortal condition and I was terrified. Hold me, caress me, kiss me. Don’t leave me alone… ever,” she finished sobbing harder.
Sarah was no longer a girl and was now in her second year of studying Psychology. She had been confronted with the death of a loved one and remembered my age. That’s why she panicked.

Oddly enough, one of the MCs in the current WIP attracts birds. Like, if you asked someone where he lives, they'd say, "See that massive cloud of birds? His place is directly under it."
The most interesting one to latch onto him is a giant magical raven he names Calliope. Wouldn't call her little though.
Talking to my writing again. Shadow Kiss wanted to clarify I'm not done with it and Act 1 demanded an explanation of exactly what I'm doing to it, specifically why I wrote a bunch of stuff yesterday that I realized I shouldn't include before I was done writing it.
Let's try this again with the RIGHT date. Because I'm apparently eager enough to the year to end to be trying to convince myself it's November...
Finished my rough draft today. On SEPTEMBER 16th.
Finished my rough draft of Shadow Kiss (Snow Kiss 2) this afternoon. It was a few words shy of 116,000, which makes it comparable to Book 1. I need to rewrite huge swaths of Act 1, but I was happy with my ending at least. It was really sweet and highlighted my themes well.
