And we once again see the usual dynamics unfold. Organizations tend to elect women to lead them in times of crisis. When these women leave, the organizations are generally in a better shape. Yet the public will still blame all issues on them, including those which started well before they took over, all while completely ignoring the accomplishments. This is in stark contrast to the way male leaders are treated, who are generally getting credit even for the advancements that weren’t under their control but rather general societal developments for example or long-term effects of their predecessors’ actions.

I'm not sure that convinces me. Core of the criticism remains this single rather small donation.
To focus on the technical side:
1. Mozilla management after @BrendanEich was a disaster named #MitchellBaker.
2. #BraveBrowser is only a frontend for #Chromium, unlike #Firefox, the last remaining libre browser. - It could easily be solved by changing the engine.
3. BAT is the crude solution to a problem no one solved, most even ignore.
This should be something to keep an eye on. #Firefox current CEO #MitchellBaker stated that she wants to "turn on by default the tools to amplify factual voices over disinformation."
She was not very clear how she wants to achieve that. And it sounds frightfully closed to some form of censorship (I hope not).
She also wants to promote transparency of how platform algorithms works to amplify certain voice. I guess I can stand behind that. But details matter.
