Some of the names on this list have me shaking my head. Who would let these people go away from their company? Hire them while you still can!
Very sad that #Mozilla had to lay off 1/4 of its workers:

Firefox usage has been in decline for a while (I still stick with it), and Mozilla always struggled with their business model. I really hope we don't end up with a Google monopoly over the web, but this news is another sign we're headed in that direction.
Today I learned a Mozilla alumn started this project to hire ex-Mozilla people:

A few days ago, @mozilla sacked 250 of the best FOSS technologists on this planet arguing serious budget constraints.
Today, we learn that Mozilla signed a three-year, $1.2+ billion deal with Google, and expected that to remain under wraps until November.
Despite of the love we have for the work they've done for decades the Mozilla organisation is insulting the FOSS community and its own amazing employees.
Not a good show, @mozilla.

Hey everyone!
I just wanted to say, I feel so bad for the people who got laid off by Mozilla.
I already saw that Mozilla was a quite profitable company and yes, they have increased contract time for Proprietary, non privacy respecting companies, such as Google.
They will also focus mainly on developing profitable products such as their VPN.
That's all I wanted to say and,
Stay Safe!
