Another thing, I rarely do, but did in #Unmodeled, is having multiple main characters with their own storylines. A chapter always consists of three sections for one storyline each.
#MichaelAndLucas is similar, yet, the storylines alternate between chapters, not within.

Not per se. It's all a matter of budget.
I would shoot the #SoulBearer trilogy in #TheVolume/ #Stagecraftโข๏ธ due to it being fantasy and therefore requiring quite some VFX shots. Later scenes of #FindingMe take place in the future. #MichaelAndLucas probably never gets completed.

#MichaelAndLucas is a Science Fiction story which has a utopian setting: Scientific breakthroughs (curing cancer, procreate with two sets of semen only, etc.), less hate towards people who are different.
Their daughter also experiences the effects of #ClimateChange first hand, not having lived through a world before these drastic changes.
In #MichaelAndLucas: Working out how society as well as science could and would develop in the near future and between time jumps to be both realistic and serving the plot

Definitely better. I mean, they, a gay couple, can procreate without any egg donors and can both be biological fathers to their child. What could they ask more for?

I finally decided on writing a short story instead of long form as I am used to (yes, still one third less than other authors). And in the end, #ArkanCotton was a success on that platform, judging by the comments I got
