At the end of the first part of the #SoulBearer trilogy, #SoulBearerLegacy, our protagonist, Balia, dies, so she can't be the protagonist of the second part. But she'll rejoin its cast, now taking the role of the sidekick, which had been filled by Alexander before, who's now gone.

I once tried that with the #SoulBearer trilogy, starting with #SoulBearerLegacy and having a new protagonist for each novel, but the community I posted in lost interest in reading stories in general, so I stopped posting the last chapters of the first as well as not posting the first chapters of the second part of the series, I had already started writing

#SoulBearerLegacy, the first part of a trilogy introduces us to the concept of soul bearers, people who take souls of dead people who they then can talk to and might get guidance from. When they in turn die, said soul leaves them and their own soul can be taken by a soul bearer.

The whole concept of #SoulBearerLegacy is built around that: When Balia finds Alexander, he is dying. He takes his soul and he is with her from then on, giving her advice and being annoying at times.

I would shoot the #SoulBearer trilogy in #TheVolume/ #Stagecraft™️ due to it being fantasy and therefore requiring quite some VFX shots. Later scenes of #FindingMe take place in the future. #MichaelAndLucas probably never gets completed.

I had characters in the #SoulBearer trilogy fantasy world speak different fantasy languages at times, though, too few words that I would consider them #conLang|s

I guess, Balia just never thought about that. But she could probably not believe, what an impact she will have had in hindsight. First, she would have expected herself insignificant for historiography, then she was negatively regarded for breaking the rules, which at the same time opened her eyes.
