@leyrer: Da ist entweder ein #Citroën #Mehari-4x4-Chassis drunter oder es ist ein #Voisin-4x4-Umbau. Zumindest keine Sahara-Ente oder Sahara-Enten-Nachbau. Dazu fehlte der zweite Motor im Kofferraum.

Allerdings klang der Motor auch nicht so sehr nach #Citroën2CV, aber schon nach #Boxermotor, eventuell ist da ein #GS-Motor oder ein umgebauter #2CV-Motor mit deutlich mehr Hubraum drin. Oder gar ein BMW-R-Motorrad-Motor.

This was posted on #Facebook earlier as a nostalgic photo of Los Angeles in the 1980’s (far more pollution than today, in passing).

Is that a #Citroën Méhari beach car? I think it is! The Méhari was basically a 2CV with a beach body.

The #Méhari weighed approximately 535 kg (1,179 lb), with the fully independent suspension, chassis and the 602 ‪cm³‬ flat twin petrol engine of the 2CV6 (6 for 600).

It's also a turkish female given name. The '96 French-Arabic song #Aïcha by #Khaled (https://youtu.be/gzlHucbD76U, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A%C3%AFcha) seems to refer to the same name. So when I read that hostname, I always have that song as #earworm.

Today, the Citroën Méhari, a 2CV-based light off-road vehicle with open plastic bodywork. The 2CV’s long-travel suspension and high ground clearance made it an ideal base for such a car. A four-wheel drive version was available for a while. This car was at Rétromobile Paris in 2014.
